Howard Greenfield is an Operating Partner for Canaan where he works with their portfolio companies on Go To Market strategies and execution. His focus areas are: Sales, Marketing, Partners, Strategic Relationships and Customer Success. Since Joining Canaan, he has assisted the following Portfolio Companies in the areas mentioned above.
Prior to Canaan, Howard was the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Centrify, a leader in the Privileged Access Management space. He was responsible for the Sales, Partners, Marketing and Customer Success organizations and was responsible for growing their business from $104M to $124M in 2020. Centrify was sold to TPG in March 2021. Prior to Centrify, he was the CRO at SailPoint, a leader in the Identity Governance Space. He was responsible for growing SailPoint’s business from $40M to over $325M and lead them to an IPO on the NYSE in November, 2017. Before SailPoint, he led Sales, Demand Generation, Field Marketing and Customer Success at Zenprise/Citrix. The Zenprise/Citrix business grew from $5M to $230M and Zenprise was acquired by Citrix. He has also held executive positions at Wanova (acquired by VMWare), Witness Systems (acquired by Verint) & Mercury Interactive.
Greenfield received a BBA in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.
