Chun is passionate about bringing innovative medicines to patients. He is a board observer on the boards of Halda Therapeutics, Alphina Therapeutics and Vima Therapeutics. He was a Canaan-Yale Fellow, assisting the growth strategy of portfolio companies, such as Rallybio, Tyra Biosciences, and Synthekine.

Prior to joining Canaan, Chun worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company where he advised biopharmaceutical companies on R&D, commercial, and BD strategy. He helped biotech companies across the value chain, from early-stage companies planning the pipeline and raising funds to established companies launching into international markets.

Chun holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Yale University and a B.S. in Neuroscience & Biology from Emory University. His graduate research on EGFR mutations in glioblastoma was published in Nature. In his spare time, Chun enjoys cooking for family and friends, gardening, and all racket sports.
