A former entrepreneur and practicing physician, Steve's mission is to make healthcare delivery more efficient. Before joining Canaan, Steve founded multiple start-ups, including Radiology Management Sciences (RMS), a pioneer in managing radiology benefits for health plans, where he was CEO for 6 years. Steve holds a A.B. from Dartmouth College, received his M.A. in the history of science and public policy from Harvard University, and earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester. He trained in radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard and in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital/Cornell.
